Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Surrey, providing high-quality care to patients in acute settings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in acute care and rehabilitation, with expertise in delivering evidence-based interventions and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to patients in acute settings, including ADL training, cognitive rehabilitation, mobility enhancement, and environmental adaptation
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and efficient discharge planning
  • Provide training and education to patients and their families on post-discharge activities and self-management strategies
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with full HCPC registration in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (for Band 6) or 5+ years (for Band 7) in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
