Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic therapy team at the Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead. As a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, incomplete spinal injuries, and neurological illnesses.

About the Role:

You will lead the Speech and Language Therapy team within a large multi-disciplinary environment, working with a diverse client base including those with complex neurological disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to help clients achieve independence and transition seamlessly to their next stage of care or home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading and coordinating Speech and Language Therapy services
  2. Participating in supervision, reflective practice, and training initiatives to support your professional development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Post-graduate experience in therapeutic interventions for neurorehabilitation or physical and learning disabilities
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD, post-graduate courses, and a maintained professional portfolio
