Special Educational Needs Coordinator

**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated English Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our school community. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality educational support to children with special educational needs and disabilities.
**The Ideal Candidate**We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team and have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
- Work with pupils on therapy or care programmes, designed and supervised by a therapist/care professional during timetabled sessions.
**Requirements:
- Higher-Level Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
- GCSE pass above C grade 4 in English and Maths.
**Salary and Benefits:
£26,265.26 per annum (pro rata), dependent on qualifications. Plus £2000 welcome bonus for HLTA with SEN experience.
