Salary
The successful candidate can expect a competitive daily rate of £86.50 (based on a 5-day week, 32 hours per week) as well as the opportunity for long-term contracts and flexible working arrangements.
Job Description
As a Learning Support Assistant at Academics Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualised support and assistance to students before, during, and after lessons
- Encouraging social skills development and promoting independence
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adapting support strategies accordingly
- Participating in team meetings and training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate psychology graduate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with special needs and hold a strong academic background in psychology or a related field.
