Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging among students and promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, with a strong understanding of their unique challenges and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with SEN.
