Director of Additional Learning Support Job Opportunity

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Director of Additional Learning Support to lead the provision of this critical service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and legally compliant service.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Additional Learning Support provision to ensure it meets compliance standards and delivers a high-quality service.
  • Oversee the delivery of support, including accurate recording, funding claims, and data management.
  • Conduct audits, learner assessments, and observations to identify and address support needs promptly.
  • Work closely with curriculum teams and other stakeholders to facilitate access arrangements and improve the learning experience.
  • Line-manage Learning Support Assistants and promote strong communication between teams.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate award in Assessment for Access Arrangements or equivalent.
  • Expertise in Additional Learning Support and knowledge of key curriculum developments within further education.
  • Proven experience in managing Additional Learning Support services.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, including proficiency with MS Office and management information systems.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
