Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Additional Learning Support provision, ensuring a high-quality service is provided and accurate records are kept.
  • Stay up-to-date on ESFA funding issues and provide management information on funded provision.
  • Record information on UNIT-e ALS module and claim funding via Learner Support Fund (LSF).
  • Audit learning support practitioners and learners receiving support, ensuring Ofsted inspection readiness.
Requirements
  • L7 Postgraduate Award of Proficiency in Assessment for Access Arrangements or equivalent.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • Recently undertaken professional development and practical application experience.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge of current curriculum developments within FE and additional learning support.
  • Experience managing additional learning support and working in post-16 education.
Estimated Salary: £23 per hour
