Job Title: Supporting Children with Additional Learning Needs

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This role involves working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide high-quality support to students with additional learning needs, promoting their academic and social development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored interventions to students with additional learning needs, adapting materials and resources to meet individual needs.
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, supporting students' social development and positive behavior.
  • Collaborating with the schools SEN team and external specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Maintaining a positive and encouraging relationship with students, helping them feel safe and supported in their learning journey.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with additional learning needs, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting children with learning challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude towards supporting children's individual learning needs.
  • A clear DBS check and legal right to work within the UK.
