As a key member of our Family Support Team, you will provide spiritual, pastoral, and religious care to patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual, pastoral, and religious care to patients, families, and colleagues, respecting their beliefs and values.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and lead reflective remembrance gatherings and other spiritual care initiatives.
  • Support the induction of staff and volunteers, promoting a culture of compassion and empathy.
  • Represent the Hospice in the wider community, fostering partnerships with local faith groups and organizations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in theology, pastoral care, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Endorsement from a recognized religion or belief group, if applicable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
