Key Responsibilities

As our new General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's launch and operations. From pre-opening planning to managing daily operations once we open, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly and aligns with our company values.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the pre-opening efforts, including team recruitment, training, and ensuring all operational systems are in place.
  • Oversee daily operations from opening day, ensuring exceptional service, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Build and lead a diverse and motivated team.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house.
  • Drive financial success through careful planning, waste control, and sales growth.
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu and campaign launches, ensuring every detail reflects our brand.
  • Monitor and improve processes, from table planning to health and safety compliance.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a General Manager or in a managerial role within in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, especially during the pre-opening phase.
  • A passion for exceptional service and creating a welcoming, memorable experience for guests.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, sales targets, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Ottolenghi's ethos, menu, and commitment to quality.
