The role will report to the Head of Financial Crime Risk CIIOM. The role holder will support and champion the Customer Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) process within CIIOM and take oversight of wider Financial Crime Risk (FCR) processes.
**In this role, you will**:
- Maintain the appropriate oversight and ensure the effectiveness of the CSEM process across CIIOM.
- Oversee the effectiveness of the CSEM process for CIIOM, acting as Secretariat in CIIOM Reputational Risk & Customer Selection Committee (RRCSC) ensuring a robust and auditable exit process is maintained.
- Ensure Oversight of end-to-end CSEM case management including the Global Service Centre(GSC) supporting the process and the required records maintained within UCM to support MI and tracking.
- Take oversight of wider FCR processes as required.
- Resolve all identified issues promptly, escalate concerns and produce recommendations for change as appropriate.
- Provide leadership and line management to CSEM and other FCR operations team members within CIIOM as required.
- Maintain relationships with relevant Regional and Global teams.
- Open and regular communication with key stakeholders. This includes the attendance of monthly Governance calls.
Requirements
**To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements**:
- A good understanding and experience of Customer Selection and Exit Management (CSEM) is preferred.
- Good understanding of risk function, if possible in liaison with financial crime risks.
- Ability to build and maintain effective networks formally and informally across jurisdictions, both onshore and offshore
- Proven track record of delivering multiple objectives and making choices making under pressure.
- Proven record of effective time management, including planning, identifying priorities and bringing a wide range of tasks to successful completion.
- A desire to find ways to continually improve a service.
- Good independence in their organisation and proactivity in the execution of their responsibilities
- Understands, analyses, interprets management information.
- Experience line managing and leading and developing teams that may be based both onshore and offshore.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate at all levels effectively.
