We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Sales Associate - Jersey

The role of Sales Associate is an exciting role within the Sales Team in the Channel Islands & Isle of Man. The role will contribute to enhancing our client experience and we are therefore looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the growth of our business in Europe. The key focuses of the role are building and maintaining relationships with new and existing Global Banking (GB) & Commercial Banking clients to service and facilitate client sales requests with GPS solutions. The role will also involve in supporting Senior Sales Managers and Relationship Managers with sales service requests.

The role will include:

- Working in a team supporting a portfolio of new and existing clients with GPS products and solutions
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and Senior Sales Managers across the region
- Broadening and deepening client relationships across Europe & globally
- Working with key stakeholders including, but not limited to CMB, Product Development, Client Management to ensure a positive client experience
- Support Senior Sales Manager with complex-sales opportunities and RFPs, which include prepping of sales deck and material to clients
- Work with key stakeholders to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements are adhered to
- Ensuring all requests for ops losses/refunds, travel, out of plan expenditure, hospitality events etc. are appropriate and correctly authorized
- Continually reassessing the Sales process through to implementation and work closely with other stakeholders to identify efficiencies
Requirements
- Relevant global payments solutions product knowledge (payments and cash management products and services/transaction banking) - desirable but not essential

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Past working experience in a relevant role or knowledge of the CMB business - desirable but not essential
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services. Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Certificate of International Cash Management, ACT are desirable but not essential
- negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling presentations.
- Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
- Excellent stakeholder management to established and built valuable long-term relationships with significant customers
