About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Business Skills Coach to join our team at Pearson. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programmes to develop our Apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviours for their Level 3 and 5 Leadership and Management Programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior management role and be proficient in managing learners and caseloads effectively. They will also have excellent written skills to enable detailed feedback and target setting of objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver personalized learning programmes supporting apprentices in gaining required knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
  2. Contribute to assessment, eligibility, onboarding, and induction to accurately record apprentices' starting points.
  3. Provide individual coaching, arrange visits, and support apprentices in developing workplace skills essential for qualification completion.
  4. Assess apprentices against criteria, provide constructive feedback, and use e-portfolios effectively.
  5. Track apprentices' progress, conduct formal reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified trainer and assessor with demonstrable training and delivery experience of Level 3 and 5 Apprenticeships and Qualifications.
  2. Industry competence and experience in a senior management role.
  3. Proficient in managing learners and caseloads effectively.
  4. Excellent written skills to enable detailed feedback and target setting of objectives.
