About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Metocean Engineer to join our expanding survey team at Partrac, a leading provider of metocean services for the renewables and coastal and offshore industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in science, engineering, or oceanographic disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years' industry experience in a relevant technical or engineering role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned and preventative maintenance, test and inspection, calibration and set up of specialist instrumentation and oceanographic and metocean moorings.
  • Be an integral part of the metocean team in project preparation, mobilisation and servicing of seabed deployed oceanographic equipment, floating systems including wave buoys and LIDAR systems, in addition to fixed systems such as wave radar and tide gauges installations.
  • Adherence to management systems including ISO accreditation and QHSE procedures.
  • Preparation of project documentation in line with legislation and regulation, industry best practice, client requirements and our own high standards.
  • Preparation of accurate and timely survey reports.
