About the Role

The Project Manager (Metocean / Oceanographic) is a key position within our team, responsible for delivering metocean measurement campaigns for offshore wind projects across Europe. This role requires a strong background in oceanography, offshore or coastal survey, and marine operations, with excellent communication and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and deliver contract requirements for metocean measurement campaigns.
  • Prioritize safety in all planning, engineering design, and execution to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and manage project opportunities and risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Control, monitor, and track financial aspects of projects to maximize profitability.
  • Balance maximizing profit and client satisfaction through effective project management.
  • Manage change during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Coordinate project teams and ensure effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects deliver the expected outcomes and meet client requirements.
  • Support metocean measurement operations up to 30 days per year.
About You
  • Advanced user of MS 365 applications.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Systematic and methodical approach with a fine attention to detail.
  • Experience in commercial marine operations.
  • Hold a degree in oceanography, marine science, applied physics, marine engineering, or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate tenacity and flexibility in a dynamic team environment.
  • Commercially minded with an impeccable level of professionalism.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, reading, and writing).
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel to mobilizations and client meetings.
