Role Overview
Care Manager - Safeguarding Fixed Term up to 18 months
Rutland County Council is seeking a highly skilled professional to work within our Adult Social Care team, where we prioritize solution-focused and creative approaches. This role offers the opportunity to empower adults and their carers to achieve their chosen outcomes throughout the safeguarding process.

About the Job
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Care Manager in Adult Social Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with some of the most at-risk members of our Rutland community, providing support and guidance to ensure their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with others to prevent and protect adults from abuse and neglect
- Collaborate with professionals to identify and address risk factors affecting vulnerable adults
- Conduct strengths-based assessments to develop tailored care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users
- Maintain accurate electronic social care records, updating them as necessary
- Work in line with relevant legislation, procedures, and internal policies to ensure the safeguarding of adults in Rutland

Requirements
- Experience in working with adults who have care and support needs
- Knowledge of Adult Care Legislation and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners
