Job Title: Adult Service Manager - Safeguarding

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Adult Social Care team as an Adult Service Manager - Safeguarding. This critical role involves overseeing the delivery of safeguarding services to high-risk adults and their carers, ensuring that we respond effectively to their needs and promote their well-being.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in adult social care, preferably in a management capacity, and will be able to demonstrate expertise in safeguarding practices, policies, and procedures. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The role involves managing a team of staff members, providing coaching and mentoring, and developing strategies to improve service delivery. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of service users and stakeholders, and that we continuously evaluate and improve our practices to achieve better outcomes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in social care or a related field;
  • Significant experience in adult social care, preferably in a management capacity;
  • Expertise in safeguarding practices, policies, and procedures;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff members;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate evidence and make informed decisions.
