IT Helpdesk Technician

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide first-line support for clients, investigating tickets reported to the IT helpdesk, triaging existing tickets, and escalating to relevant teams when necessary. You will also work closely with other teams to ensure all tickets are up-to-date. This includes providing 1st response to incidents raised, offering a 1st fix or escalating incidents to the appropriate department, and ensuring details of all calls and enquiries are accurately logged onto cloud-based customer support software.
The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines without compromising quality. A high degree of ownership and accountability is expected, along with excellent customer focus and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
You will run monitoring tools and technologies, including Windows Azure, Microsoft Suite, SQL, Powershell, FreshDesk, and Visual Studio DevOps Profile. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include investigating tickets, triaging existing tickets, working closely with other teams, providing 1st response to incidents, and logging all calls and enquiries onto cloud-based customer support software.
