About the Role

The National Academy for Social Prescribing seeks a highly experienced senior leader to shape its future strategy and develop existing and new partnerships with government departments, national agencies, charities, business, the NHS, and others to deliver social prescribing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic relationships and partnerships with leaders from diverse sectors
  • Co-produce strategies and programme plans for joint work
  • Lead the implementation of multi-million-pound programmes reporting to government departments
  • Manage staff seconded by partners or employed directly by NASP to deliver partnership plans and priorities
Skill and Qualification Requirements
  • High degree of intellect and strategic vision
  • Persuasive public speaker and advocate for social prescribing at the highest level
  • Proven track record of delivering complex high-impact partnerships that make a measurable impact
Working Conditions

This is a full-time permanent contract with hybrid working arrangements, requiring attendance at the NASP office up to 2 days per week. Regular travel for site visits, staff days, and external meetings is also expected.

Estimated Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum
