Youth Counsellor

We are seeking a skilled Youth Counsellor to join our team in London. In this role, you will provide 1:1 counselling and early intervention mental health support to young people aged 11-25 years old. Our client is Family Action, a leading provider of early support hubs, and this position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of dedicated Youth Support Workers and collaborate with the Hackney Super Youth Hub. Key responsibilities include providing 1:1 counselling and early intervention mental health support, working with professionals in the network, and using outcome tools to measure client well-being. This role requires an active interest in mental health issues and a commitment to promoting safety and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
The salary for this position is £35,780 to £38,262 per annum, and benefits include the opportunity to contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of the service and contribute to reporting to commissioners and fundraisers.
