Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Academic Support Liaison to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment. This is a full-time, long-term position that offers a competitive daily rate and opportunities for professional development.

The successful candidate will have a 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University and a genuine interest in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). They will also possess excellent communication skills and adaptability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEN to stay engaged in the classroom
  • Encouraging the development of social skills
  • Working in the classroom and smaller groups to accommodate individual needs
  • Supporting safeguarding procedures

Key Requirements:

  • 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest in working with SEN
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability
  • Desirable: experience in SEN or a calm and compassionate nature

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology/Criminology graduate seeking first-hand experience before a career as a Therapist, Counsellor, or Youth Mentor. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working with children with complex needs, develop their skills, and receive support from specialist staff.

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum. Interviews and trial days can be arranged immediately.
