Job Description

As an Appointment Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for patients, ensuring that they receive timely and efficient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Diabetic Eye Screening Service in Cumbria.

About the Team

You will be part of a talented team of professionals, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that patients receive the best possible service, and we are committed to continuous improvement and excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • To schedule appointments for patients, taking into account their availability and location.
  • To maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • To contribute to the development of service improvements, working collaboratively with the team to identify areas for enhancement.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • NHS experience, preferably in a similar role.
