Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Care Specialist to join our Urgent Treatment Centres team at Totally plc.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on an expanded role in Primary Care, supporting existing clinical care and enhancing the capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner using advanced clinical practice skills and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients.
  • Carry out consultations with patients, taking a comprehensive patient history, deciding on and carrying out treatment, including prescribing medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols.
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Pharmacist qualifications.
  • Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (equivalent or higher).
  • Clinical skills qualification at degree level.
  • Evidence of completion of study in minor illness.
  • Independent prescriber qualification.
  • Evidence of study in minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor illness or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Evidence of study in paediatric minor injury or willingness to develop these skills.
