Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Hartford Care team as a Senior Care Assistant. We are looking for an experienced and caring individual to lead our care team during the day.
About the Role:
As a Day Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This includes promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence, as well as supervising and leading the shift team.
You will work closely with our team to create a happy and caring atmosphere, and your responsibilities will include carrying out observations, checking activities logs, and giving detailed handovers to the next shift team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- A flexible approach to working hours
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
