Resident Care and Support Lead Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Care and Support Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Resident Care and Support Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of person-centred care, working closely with our clinical team to ensure our residents receive the best possible care.

You'll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting them to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. You'll also assist with medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews, ensuring that our residents' needs are met.

To succeed in this role, you'll need an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for someone who is warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

This is a Bank position, providing cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave. The hours and days you work will vary, but you'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
