About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding Professional to join our team in supporting the Senior Vice Principal for Safeguarding across our independent special schools in London and Essex.

">

As a qualified Social Worker or experienced Deputy/Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will be responsible for safeguarding including liaison with external agencies, responding to safeguarding concerns as they arise, compiling reports and attending meetings.

">

The role involves working closely with the Senior Vice Principal to maintain a consistently robust and effective safeguarding culture across our schools. You will also be involved in planning and delivering staff training, which may include workshops on safeguarding best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support staff inductions and training">
  • Oversight of all pupils who are CP/CIN/CLA">
  • Attending conferences and meetings and leading on safeguarding concerns and referrals">

About You:

">

We are looking for an individual with successful experience as a leader in a challenging setting, preferably with SEMH experience. You should have outstanding experience as a D/DSL and leader, fully-qualified social worker or DSL-level safeguarding training, and at least a good first degree in or related to a core subject.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, up to 15 weeks of holiday, opportunities for high-quality professional development, and financial support towards relevant professional qualifications.
