We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Safeguarding Manager to join our team in Lambeth and Chelmsford.

">

This is a leadership position focused on supporting the Senior Vice Principal for Safeguarding across all our schools. The role includes responsibility for safeguarding, including liaison with external agencies, responding to safeguarding concerns as they arise, compiling reports and attending meetings.

You will work closely with the Senior Vice Principal to maintain a consistently robust and effective safeguarding culture across our schools. This includes planning and delivering staff training, which may include workshops on safeguarding best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Support staff inductions and training">
  • Oversight of all pupils who are CP/CIN/CLA">
  • Attending conferences and meetings and leading on safeguarding concerns and referrals">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need successful experience as a leader in a challenging setting, preferably with SEMH experience. You should have outstanding experience as a D/DSL and leader, fully-qualified social worker or DSL-level safeguarding training, and at least a good first degree in or related to a core subject.
