Deputy Safeguarding and Welfare Manager

**Job Title: Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead**
University College Birmingham is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Student Services and Wellbeing directorate as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. This is a fixed-term position, running until September 2025.
As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all UCB students aged 16+. You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Head of FE Pastoral Support to address concerns effectively and proactively.
Key responsibilities include implementing safeguarding policies and procedures, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead in addressing concerns and investigating incidents, and working collaboratively with other teams to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £30,505 - £33,882 per annum, based on the location in Birmingham.
