The academy is looking for a skilled and experienced Care Support Worker to provide wrap-around care services to our students. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our students during the breakfast and afternoon periods.

About the Role

The Care Support Worker will be responsible for safeguarding children during the breakfast period, preparing and assisting with activities for the children on site, and supervising any relevant meals/snacks required. You will work closely with our teaching staff and other support workers to ensure that our students receive the highest quality care and support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with children and colleagues, and demonstrate good food hygiene practices. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations as needed. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care services and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £10,716.00 per annum, based on a part-time schedule. This is a fixed-term contract ending August 31st, 2025. In addition to your salary, you will also receive access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
