PMLD Teaching Assistant Job Description
Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill a PMLD Teaching Assistant role at our client school in Preston. As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Providing support to pupils in small groups or one-on-one
- Assisting with personal care and everyday tasks
- Working closely with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements
- Relevant experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties essential
- Team Teach qualification desirable
- Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
