Supporting Pupils with SEMH Difficulties

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team in Preston. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH) across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in creating and implementing educational plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with SEN pupils. To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Have a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure or be willing to undergo one.
Terms and Conditions: This is a long-term temporary position, with a view to offering a permanent contract at a later date. The salary for this role is £51 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
