Secondary School Seeks Support Professional

A prestigious secondary school in Preston is looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to a KS3 pupil with additional needs.

The successful candidate will work full-time during term time, initially until May 2025, tailoring resources and learning activities to meet the pupil's unique requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with class teachers, SENDCo, and parents to ensure the pupil's progress and development
  • Implement effective 1:1 intervention strategies to support the pupil's academic growth
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the school community
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH
  • Strong understanding of key subjects including English, Maths, and Science
  • Competitive salary range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, based on experience
