About the School: Our client school is a specialist school for students with SEMH needs. They provide full-time education for up to 125 pupils who are not able to access mainstream education.

About the Job: As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Pupil Support Manager to develop and implement behaviour management strategies to improve pupil behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to improve pupil behaviour
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective delivery of lessons
  • Provide pastoral care and support to pupils, including one-to-one support and group work

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with SEMH pupils
  • Knowledge and understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
