SEN Learning Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges.
This is a full-time, term-time only position, offering a competitive salary based on experience. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students, working 1:1 or in small groups
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging, sensory-based learning activities
- Support the creation of an inclusive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships and promote emotional development among students
- Utilize communication aids and strategies to enhance students' language and interaction skills
- Offer assistance with personal care needs, emphasizing independence and dignity
- Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN (desired)
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar (recommended)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children
