SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely primary school near Preston. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for supporting a Year 3 pupil with SEN on a 1-1 basis.
Position Details:
• Location: Preston area
• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8am-3pm
• Salary: £85 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing behaviour positively and creating a supportive learning environment
• Preparing resources and setting up learning areas to promote engagement and understanding
• Effective communication with other staff members, parents, and the SENDCO to ensure seamless support for the pupil
Requirements:
• Up-to-date Safeguarding certificate (training can be provided if necessary)
• Team Teach qualification highly desirable
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be beneficial
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS clearance required
• Two professional child-related references available upon request
