We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant and SEN Support to join our team in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and a desire to support students with SEN and EMH.

The successful candidate will be required to work full-time during term time, initially until May 2025. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils in a 1:1 and small group setting, preferably with KS3/KS4 students.

Job Description:

Job Title: Teaching Assistant and SEN Support

Location: Preston

Type: Full-time, initially until May 2025

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant and SEN Support to provide support to students with SEN and EMH in a 1:1 and small group setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing general classroom support and 1:1 intervention support
  • Liaising directly with class teachers, the SENDCo and parents to discuss pupil progression and development
  • Tailoring resources, learning activities, and intervention planning to meet individual student needs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and EMH
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
