Teaching Assistant Job Overview

This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting a Year 3 pupil with special educational needs in a primary school near Preston. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a teaching assistant and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage behaviour positively.
  • Preparing resources and establishing engaging learning environments.
  • Maintaining effective communication with other staff members, parents, and the SENDCO.

Salary Details:

The daily rate for this role is between £85-£100, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a valid right to work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application, and two professional child-related references.
