SEN Learning Assistant

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Preston. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs.
About the Role- Implement individual education plans for students with SEN.
- Provide support with learning and personal care needs.
- Foster independence and inclusion within the school community.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to design engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Monitor and track student progress.
This role offers a competitive daily rate of £88.51, based on experience.
Qualifications and Requirements- Previous experience working with students with SEN.
- Thorough understanding of the unique needs associated with MLD, SLD, ASD, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting children's growth.
- Desirable: relevant qualifications or certifications.
- Mandatory: Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
