This is a unique chance for a senior-level events professional to take on a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of event planning and execution. As a Senior Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Role

You will collaborate with the Group Event Director to develop and implement operational plans for each event, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing event budgets
  • Coordinating logistical aspects of events, including vendor and supplier management
  • Creating detailed event schedules and timelines
  • Providing regular financial reports and updates to senior management
  • Risk management and compliance
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing event setup, execution, and teardown
  • Conducting post-event evaluations

The Candidate

We are seeking an experienced events professional with a proven track record in operational delivery, ideally from within an association, conference organiser, or exhibition organiser type business. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
