Job Summary

We are seeking a strong generalist HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience gained in both SME and larger complex businesses, with a practical and strategic approach to HR. You will be suited to a pragmatic environment and able to bring a fresh perspective and ideas to drive innovation and motivation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives
    • Provide HR guidance and support to leadership teams and management
  • Talent Management
    • Oversee all recruitment and talent management processes
    • Manage employee relations within a unionized environment
  • HR Operations
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Manage HR analytics for Group reporting and information
  • Compensation and Reward
    • Develop compensation and reward strategies

Requirements

  • Level 7 CIPD or HR degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience gained within unionized environments, ideally in engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or similar
  • Strong understanding of operating in regulated environments
  • HR Team management and leadership capability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ER, recruitment, performance management, and training within unionized environments
