**Temporary HR Administrator**

**Location: West Cumbria/ Preston/ Hybrid**

**Job type: Temporary 3-6-month contract**

Delkia is a specialist Systems Integrator operating throughout the UK and Internationally for safety-related and mission-critical systems in highly regulated sectors, including Aerospace, Maritime, Defence and Clean Energy.

**We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our dynamic team at Delkia on a temporary basis.**

**Overview of the role**

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Temporary Administrator with HR experience to assist our organisation in developing and implementing new policies and procedures, as well as supporting company re-structures and competency framework development. This role is ideal for someone who is adept at managing multiple projects, possesses strong administrative skills, and has experience in human resources.

**Key responsibilities**
- Assist in developing and implementing new organisational policies and procedures.
- Support the HR team in company restructuring processes.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth implementation of new strategies.
- Provide support in HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Participate in HR project management and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Providing day to day advice and guidance to Managers and employees on HR related queries.
- Support with collecting data for reporting.
- Provide occasional PA support to the CEO.
- Attend company meetings to take minutes and distribute to attendees.

**Desired Qualifications / Prerequisites**:

- Proven experience in an administrative role within an HR involvement.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of HR practices and legal compliance.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in line with GDPR Regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
- Adaptable with changing workloads.
- Experience supporting with company re-structures preferable
