We are working with one of the UK's leading construction businesses. We are currently looking for a Sub Agent to be involved with Earthworks and Drainage on a major project helping repurpose land to alleviate physical site congestion and support new build projects. Based on site as part of the construction team, you will assist with the construction strategy as well as overseeing and managing the delivery of the project. The Sub Agent will play an integral part in assisting driving the project forward while upholding the highest standards in health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring they align with project plans.
- Understanding and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Utilise your engineering background to provide technical guidance and problem-solving support as necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and other project-related documentation.
- Ensuring and maintaining strict quality control procedures

**About you**:

- Demonstrable experience at Site/ Section engineer, working towards Site/ Sub-agent level within a civil engineering construction environment supports your effective communication and leadership skills
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent) in Construction / Civil Engineering SMSTS / IOSH (Safety Related Qualification)
- You'll have strong leadership, proven people management and influencing skills.

**Salary**: £42,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
