Sales and Customer Experience Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Planner to join our fast-paced business in Shepshed, Leicestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing sales planning, and supporting the trading team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Confirm deliveries with customers and update notes on reports to provide visibility for the trading team.
- Provide monthly price updates to customers and update SAP with correct pricing and haulage rates.
- Support Production Planners during holiday periods and absence, and cover sales order/purchase order entry as required.
- Own all elements of customer service, including complaints, ETA enquiries, delivery date enquiries, requests for updates and pricing queries.
- Inform Traders of opportunities and competitor information, and take and manage incoming customer service calls.
- Update the trading board as customer confirmations are completed to provide sales gap information.
- Manage blocked orders and develop and maintain input of information into C4C database system regarding all customer interactions.
- A level or equivalent qualification.
- 3 years' experience in a customer service/planning team environment, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the agricultural animal feed industry advantageous.
- Ability to recognize strategic planning opportunities and take best advantage.
- Confident interpersonal and social skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels of business via the telephone or face-to-face.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to keep calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer service decisions.
- SAP knowledge is essential.
This role offers a competitive salary, circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
