Permanent Childcare Lawyer

We are seeking a qualified Childcare Lawyer to join our team, with a strong background in Childcare Law, preferably from a local authority setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling a demanding and busy caseload of mainly child protection cases, with the opportunity to undertake advocacy in the Central Family Court.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the Senior Social Care Lawyers
  • Handle a caseload of child protection cases, including preparing court documents and advising Social Services clients
  • Attend meetings with clients and external parties, professionals' meetings and panels as required
  • Carry out legal research and provide advice on social care law
