Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Autism Specialist

Job Summary:

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead a specialist residential college for autism in South Wales. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team that delivers behavior support and psychological therapy to both residential and day students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Clinical Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) providing behavior support and psychological therapy to residential and day students
  • Develop and implement Positive Behavior Support and creative adaptations to therapeutic provision
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care and support for students with autism and complex needs
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the residential college

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders
