Job Summary

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team in a specialist residential college for autism. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering behaviour support and psychological therapy to both residential and day students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to support students with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans to promote student well-being and achievement.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical MDT to deliver a range of therapies, including ACT, CBT, narrative therapy, and CFT.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualised education plans.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students with autism and complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
