Job Title: Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Beechwood College, a specialist residential education service for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions, learning disabilities, and complex behavioural presentations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) within Beechwood College.
  • Ensure appropriate clinical governance of all clinical activities within the college.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a coherent and evidence-based programme for the delivery of Applied Behaviour Analysis/Positive Behavioural Support interventions.
  • Work closely with education staff to integrate clinical input with educational delivery and support identified learning outcomes for young people.
  • Provide specialised psychological assessment and therapy to young people and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Requirements:

  • Post-qualification experience working in Autism and/or learning disability settings.
  • Substantial experience and knowledge of multi-disciplinary clinical intervention for people with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
  • Competence in the use of modified evidence-based psychological therapies for people with ASC-related needs.
