Long-term Teachers Ltd is a leading provider of educational services seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will work with students who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, often accompanied by additional challenges such as autism, ADHD, attachment issues, or speech and language difficulties.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people. The ideal candidate will be able to provide general classroom support, lead small group interventions, offer one-to-one support where needed, collaborate closely with teachers, and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students.

This role is ideal for university graduates, experienced TAs seeking a new challenge, sports coaches, or individuals looking for term-time work that fits around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support and lead small group interventions
  • Offer one-to-one support where needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers in lesson planning, resource preparation and activity set up
  • Prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students
  • Ensure students are happy, engaged and able to access their learning to reach their full potential

We offer competitive pay and benefits, including a salary range of £14.45 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30, during school term time only.
