About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Supply Register. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Job Summary: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the schools' SENCO to provide support to students with SEN. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting classroom teachers with IEPs, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN in achieving their academic and social goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes student well-being.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience: A background in education or a related field is desirable, as is previous experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
