Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Category Management team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial value to our Foodbuy members through client reviews, strategic tenders, and activation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the CBM Client Sourcing team to deliver commercial targets relating to client sourcing and delivering commercial value for our Foodbuy members.
  • Ensure client-led procurement activity drives value to our Foodbuy members by leading and delivering Client Sourcing projects, involving all elements of the sourcing process.
  • Activate, grow, and sell supplier and manufacturer commercial terms via procurement activity, switch initiatives, and sales activation programs to drive commercial value for both clients and Foodbuy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in various categories and suppliers across Food, Retail, and SES, as well as Wholesalers and Distributors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with high delivery of results and commitment to attaining the highest levels of commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage and interpret complex data to make effective decisions.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
